My Story

Welcome! My name is Candace and I am your New Beginnings Nurse!  After almost 15 years in the finance, economic, and healthcare management consulting industry, I recognized that I was constantly searching outside of my work for fulfillment.  As much as I tried, my spreadsheets couldn't receive my love (haha)!  I obtained a second Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and have a breadth of experience with Public Health, Neonatal Care, Maternal/Child Health, Pain Management, Tele-health Nursing, Infection Control, and advanced Psycho-social needs. My most important contribution and life's journey is using my mind, heart, and spirit to further health equity, increase patient satisfaction, and to optimize care and outcomes. I’m Passionate about listening to patients, solving problems, and patient advocacy!

 

I’ve been involved with energetic healing for over a decade and I've been increasingly drawn to all Alternative Healing modalities and evidence-based practices. Reiki, Sound, Acupuncture, Nutrition, and Mineral Healing have been an integral part in my own healing journey. I am a certified Master Reiki Practitioner, attuned in both Holy Fire® III and Karuna Reiki®. Although I love being a Registered Nurse and Public Health Nurse in California, I've been further called to my Master Reiki work to help others on their healing journey, and find joy wherever they may find themselves. I specialize in helping Women and Children with Pain Management, IVF/Infertility, Anxiety/Stress, Trauma, PTSD, C-PTSD, Critical Care Needs, and healing after ICU admissions and trauma. My goals are to help you feel heard, supported and to help guide you on your path to healing and wholeness. Through Individual Reiki Sessions, Guided Reiki Meditation, Healing Retreats, Education, and a sense of community, I'm here to be a safe space for you!
